Booked through the clinic like any other appointment. Same service, same day, same cap of five.
Feral means our team cannot safely handle the cat — not who owns it. Every cat is examined either way. The only difference is: if we can handle your cat, the exam happens before anesthesia, which is safer, and it is the domesticated-cat price. A feral cat can only be examined once it is already under.
The rules, and why they exist
In a trap. One cat per trap.
No exceptions. Carriers, boxes, pillowcases and two cats to a trap are turned away — an unhandleable cat cannot be safely moved out of anything else.
The exam happens under anesthesia
Every cat is examined. A cat we cannot safely handle can only be examined once it is already under — so anything the exam finds is found after the anesthetic, not before it.
The ear tip is always done
There is no opt-out. It is how the next trapper knows this cat is already done. If you would rather not, book the domesticated-cat service instead.
What is included
Spay or neuter, rabies vaccination, tattoo and ear tip — the same whether the slot is free or paid.
Cats are returned to where they were trapped.
