Dr. Nadine Reichstadt
Veterinarian
Dr. Reichstadt brings more than two decades of veterinary experience to Reichstadt VetCare. She earned her veterinary degree from the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover in Germany, followed by a doctorate (Dr. med. vet.) from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. For a decade, she owned and operated her own small animal practice in Eschweiler, Germany, before relocating to Cork, Ireland, where she continued practicing veterinary medicine.
After earning her ECFVG certification and California veterinary license, Dr. Reichstadt brought her expertise across Central California before opening Reichstadt VetCare. Pet overpopulation remains a persistent problem, and too often the cost of spay/neuter and other essential surgeries puts them out of reach for the families who need them most. Dr. Reichstadt built Reichstadt VetCare to serve the community with high-quality, affordable care, giving every pet the individual attention it needs.
Rachael Chiang-Perdue
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
I joined Reichstadt VetCare in August 2026. Before working with Dr. Nadine, I spent three years with SNIP, two years at VCA San Martin Animal Hospital, and more than ten years volunteering with various animal rescues.
I love working with animals—and getting to know the people who love them! I’m especially passionate about Reichstadt VetCare’s mission to provide accessible spay/neuter procedures and wellness care for our community.
I have two foster-fail fur kids of my own. Roscoe is my three-year-old cat, who was rescued from a tree and bottle-raised. Basil is my eight-month-old Belgian Malinois, who was rescued after being hit by a car. She underwent surgery to repair her hip, as well as her spay and gastropexy, and made an incredible recovery.
Veterinary medicine truly is both my career and my passion. When I’m not at work, I’m usually volunteering with animal rescues or spending time with Roscoe and Basil. I also earned the California State Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish when I graduated from high school. Although my English is stronger these days, I’m happy to assist Spanish-speaking clients whenever I can.

Emily Doty
Veterinary Assistant
If you feel like you’ve seen Emily before, you’re probably right! A familiar face in the Hollister, California animal community, Emily has been working with animals for many years. When she isn’t at the clinic, she is running her own 501(c)(3) rescue, Project Rescue 831 — meaning her life is essentially 10% sleep and 90% rescue paws.
Emily has been a cornerstone of the Reichstadt VetCare team since the very beginning. In fact, she joined Dr. Nadine Reichstadt when the clinic was still just a blueprint, helping to literally build the exam rooms from the ground up. She knows the practice inside and out! Dedicated, compassionate, and always ready with a smile, Emily loves helping both ends of the leash feel right at home.
At home, Emily’s dedication to the rescue world is fully on display. She shares her house with five cats and two dogs. While only three of them were technically planned, the other four are proud “foster fails” — proving that Emily’s heart is just a little too big for her own good.
On the rare occasion when she isn’t surrounded by animals, you’ll most likely find her, her daughter Peyton and husband Ed cheering from the sidelines of a local football field. As a proud football mom, she spends all her time outside the clinic supporting the Hollister Balers and the Hollister Rebels, cheering on her two sons, Grady and Hunter, who are fully dedicated to the sport!
Anairis Velazco
Veterinary Assistant
My name is Anairis Velazco and I’ve been at Reichstadt VetCare for a month and a half now. The part of work I enjoy the most is being able to help animals and their owners while being part of a team that makes veterinary care more accessible to the community.
I have a 13-year-old Maltese dog of my own named Daisy. When I’m not at work I love spending time with my son, going to the beach, to the park, or just being outside.

Madeleine Reichstadt
Veterinary Assistant
I’ve been at Reichstadt VetCare as a veterinary assistant since the beginning of August after completing my certification as an OR-technician in Germany.
My favorite part of working at Reichstadt VetCare is getting to watch a healthier, happier pet leave with their owner after treatment!
I don’t currently have any pets of my own, but I get to cuddle my family’s dogs all the time.
After work, I love to spend my time running, swimming, on the back of a horse, or moving in some other way.
